Writers Eric Peterson and Joe Aubrey have launched a Kickstarter campaign for their upcoming sci-fi comic book series, Space Bastards! Check out what happens when you produce a year’s worth of content, about over 500 pages, in collaboration with your artistic heroes.
In the future, America has taken to the cosmos, but the infrastructure is lacking. Getting mail between planets is just about near impossible. Then the idea came about! What if these packages made it to their destination if the person delivering them knew their life depended on it?
Here are 5 reasons why we’re excited for Space Bastards!
5) The Three Rules!
The Intergalactic Postal Service follows three major rules! Whoever delivers the package also gets the cash. Any postal worker can use absolutely any means necessary to steal that package and deliver it themselves. The more a package changes hands, the more fees the customer pays. Those fees then go to the lucky soul that completes the delivery.
4) The Artists!

3) Four Volumes!
Four volumes of content have already been completely produced! This isn’t about a book series that’s in the early stages of development. The writers and artists are already working hard on overseeing potential books for the second year.
2) The Rewards!
Pledgers will get the opportunity to own an extremely limited edition copy of Space Bastards Volume 1. The fist volume will be signed by the entire creative team. One lucky pledger will get the chance to fly out to Arizona to party with both writers and at least one of the Space Bastards artist. You’ll be treated as the guest of honor at a party.
