In honor of Friday the 13th, Alan Robert, creator of the Beauty of Horror coloring books (IDW Publishing), gives horror fans a chance to color in their favorite monster icons. Villain Media has two FREE black and white coloring pages from the Life of Agony bassist and comic book creator for our readers!

As we previously mentioned, the follow-up to last year’s #1 best-selling coloring book promises even more macabre art. In the official description, “everyone’s favorite undead girl Ghouliana mischievously attempts to trick budding colorists into unleashing her deadly spell. Try and find the missing ingredients she’s sprinkled throughout Robert’s intricate pen and ink illustrations before it’s too late!” This is all part of the coloring contest sponsored by IDW Publishing!

Here are 5 reasons we love Alan Robert’s FREE Friday the 13th Monster Mashup:

5) If I See One More Clown! I’m Going To Lose It Up In Here!

Robert captures a wild combo of Twisty the Clown (American Horror Story), Freddy Krueger (A Nightmare on Elm St.), Jason Voorhees (Friday the 13th), Negan (The Walking Dead), Leatherface (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), and a Xenomorph (Alien). The colored-in sample was fantastically done by colorist Nicole Hagestedt.

3) Stranger Things Season 2!

Are you excited for the return of Stranger Things on Netflix? The Beauty of Horror artist illustrates Ghouliana joining Eleven and the gang as they team-up to take on The Upside Down! I can’t wait for the highly anticipated premiere on October 27th, 2017!

1) Don’t Forget To Check Out Our Review!

In our review of The Beauty of Horror 2, Robert provides a short poem in the opening pages that feels memorably lyrical. Among the many images, two of them really strike out to me because of my love for movies, especially Stanley Kubrick’s. The first image plays something out of The Shining and the other reminds me of the red robed men stalking the halls in Eyes Wide Shut.

The Beauty of Horror 2: Ghouliana’s Creepatorium – Another GOREgeous Coloring Book is in stores now! The coloring contest from IDW Publishing ends 11pm EST on 10/29 and the winner will be announced 10/31.
