Madeline Burke has left a trap for Zapata and Reade. After Zapata finds an important clue hidden in the floorboards, Burke’s suits is shot up and blown to bits. Lucky to be alive, Zapata and Reade now know Madeline is gunning for them.

In fear of his safety, Patterson (Ashley Johnson) and Rich Dotcom (Ennis Esmer) manage to find Boston (Josh Dean). It turns out Madeline is knocking off names off her hit list. She wants to make sure they are no snitches left alive.

Elsewhere, Jane realizes she needs therapy to deal with her past as Remi. Unfortunately, all the other therapists have  no clue how to treat her special condition. This leads her to pay a visit to Dr. Robert Borden (Ukweli Roach), who’s still locked up in prison.

Madeline Burke and her assassin mange to wipe out the last name on her hit list. Madeline doesn’t realize she left her fingerprints at the crime scene. Now that all the names have been knocked off, she wants to leave the country and vanish.

Meanwhile, Robert explains to Jane that she isn’t two people; she’s one person. She’s always been one person and she has to accept that. Robert reminds Jane how he and his wife saved her from death. Jane apologizes to Robert for recruiting him into Sandstorm and ruining his life.

Zapata manages to get in contact with Madeline’s private pilot. The pilot has been ordered to fly Madeline out of the country. He wants ten million before squealing on Madeline’s whereabouts, but Boston figures out he’s been stalling the entire time.

In a race against time, Jane joins Zapata and the rest of FBI team to find Madeline’s secret location. On top of a rooftop, Madeline is waiting for her helicopter to arrive. Jane and Zapata shoot their way through the hospital to get to her.

Though Zapata has caught her fugitive red-handed, Madeline just laughs it off. Burke’s assassin has already drugged Jane and kidnapped her.

Blindspot returns on NBC Fridays in April.
