The killer bees are on the move as NBC continues the action-packed Season 4 drama of Blindspot with Episode 18: ‘Ohana, starring Jaimie Alexander and Sullivan Stapleton. After the shocking events of Season 3, will Kurt Weller (Stapleton) solve the mystery tattoos before its too late for Jane Doe (Alexander)?

When we last left them off, Zapata (Audrey Esparza) and Reade (Rob Brown) worked out their differences to bring down Madeline Burke (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio). But as soon as Madeline was placed under arrest, Jane was suddenly kidnapped. Though the team rescued Jane in the nick of time, Helios has a new leader in charge.

While Zapata is unraveling because of unrest, Patterson (Ashley Johnson) and Rich Dotcom (Ennis Esmer) have solved another tattoo mystery. The investigation leads them to Quaker Hill research facility, where Patterson’s dad, Bill Nye the Science Guy, is placed under arrest.

Patterson interrogates her father but his research assistant, Ginny (Colby Minifie) defends his honor. Someone in the  lab though has been using the gene-changing technology to allow bees to carry the bacteria. As the interrogation, the real culprit is intent on selling the weaponized bees to the highest bidder.

Elsewhere, Zapata finds herself working again with former undercover agent Claudia. They are both obsessed with tracking down Dominic. They suddenly find themselves at odds over the unknown identity on a video security footage.

Though Jane and the others are able to stop the sell of the killer bees, Bill needs to find a cure. Patterson finds herself jealous over Ginny, who has earned her father’s trust and admiration. Bill and Patterson have a heart-to-heart talk before they are interrupted by shouting gunmen.

Meanwhile, Jane and Weller are on the search for the mysterious woman who wants Shepard’s belongings. They only have a name to go with, Jessica. Supposedly, Shepard has been training Jessica to take over Sandstorm when Jane couldn’t.

Patterson works fast to save her father and Ginny, who have been taken hostage. After Jane saves Bill, Patterson and Ginny unleash the killer bees onto the rest of the gunmen. With the killer bee back in confinement, Bill reminds his daughter to have a life and chase after love, which may or may not be Rich.

After seeing Claudia’s dead body, Tasha realizes she can’t do this alone. She needs the other teammates to help her stop Dominic and Helios. Finally, Tasha gets a good night’s rest.

With Rich’s holding a major clue in his hands, Kurt realizes his mother, Jessica, may be the next in line to take over Sandstorm.
