Universal Pictures has released the sexy official trailer for Fifty Shades Freed, starring Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson. Based on the steamiest novels by E. L. James, the third installment of the erotic drama sparks the forbidden return of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.
As we previously mentioned, Fifty Shades Darker began with a broken-hearted Christian Grey (Dornan) trying to win back Anastasia Steele (Johnson). Before giving him another chance, Anastasia demands a new arrangement. As the two try to find trust and stability in their relationship, shadowy figures from Christian’s past begin to resurface.
SPOILERS AHEAD! Here are 5 Easter Eggs we spotted in the Fifty Shades Freed official trailer:
5) Love Dakota Johnson!
The How To Be Single starlet doesn’t holding back as she makes a name for herself in Hollywood. The daughter of Don Johnson (Miami Vice) and Melanie Griffith (Working Girl) has the best parts of her famous parents. Johnson exudes confidence and toughness in the best moments of the trailer. “They call me Mrs. Grey!”
4) Jack’s Back!
Eric Johnson, previously stole the spotlight as Christian’s rival, Jack Hyde, and amped up his charisma as Ana’s boss. Missing from the first teaser trailer, Hyde is back but different. A little wear and tear, Hyde has definitely sunk to the dark side.
3) Elena’s Back Too!
In Fifty Shades Darker, Kim Basinger was utterly amazing as the big bad Elena Lincoln, Grey’s business partner and former lover. Anastasia’s all mad because she thinks Christian cheated on her with Elena? I don’t think I could stay mad at him.
2) Gia Matteo!
A character straight from the books, Gia Matteo is played by The Uninvited actress Arielle Kebbel. She definitely has the flirty look down pat. Can’t wait to see her in this movie!
1) That’s an INXS song!
Originally by the rock band INXS, check out this catchy cover of “Never Tear Us Apart” by Bishop Briggs.
Fifty Shades Freed arrives in theaters Valentine’s Day 2018. Fifty Shades Darker – Unrated Edition DVD/Blu-Ray is out in stores now.
