Epic Pictures has released the pulse-pounding teaser trailer to their exciting sci-fi thriller, Radius, starring Diego Klattenhoff (Homeland) and Charlotte Sullivan (Rookie Blue). Directors Caroline Labrèche and Steeve Léonard have done an impeccable job mixing science fiction and mystery to their feature film.

Following a car crash, Liam (Klattenhoff) wakes up with absolutely no memory. While seeking help, he discovers only dead bodies. He soon discovers the horrible truth; any living thing that comes within a 50-foot radius of him dies instantly.

Here are 5 reasons why the teaser trailer for Radius excites us:

5) Don’t Get Too Close!

The tagline jumps straight into the sci-fi flick’s unique premise. It’s a very frightening idea that a man whose radius can instantly strike you dead. If you get too close to someone, it will automatically get you killed. It’s the perfect metaphor you can use for something physical or emotional.

4) I’m Getting Nightmares Already!

Take a close look at Liam’s victims in the trailer. The victims have gone blind before succumbing to Liam’s deathly touch. Even a bird hits a car’s roof blind and dead after flying close to Liam, the reluctant grim reaper.

3) I’m Getting Goosebumps Already!

In a video interview with Horror Channel Frightfest, Leonard describes his male lead’s performance, “One of the key aspects is finding a good lead. The first 8-10 minutes is almost no talking. It’s cinematic and just rests on the person. You need to find a lead who conveys something with his eyes. Working with Diego Klattenhoff was a godsend.”

2) What’s Their Connection?

Jane (Sullivan) is also amnesiac and looking for answers, but she appears to be immune to Liam. Together, they embark on a journey to uncover who they are. Will they like the answers after discovering what happened to them on the night of the accident?

1) A Festival Hit!

The sci-fi thriller has been screened with critical acclaim from FrightFest, Fantastic Fest, and Fantasia Film Festival.

Radius arrives on VOD November 10, 2017.
