Showtime continues Twin Peaks: The Return with the latest airing of Episode 6. In the sixth episode, original stars, Kyle MacLachlan and Mädchen Amick, reunite along with new faces in the continuation of David Lynch’s  mystery/crime drama.

Still living Dougie’s life, Dale Cooper (MacLachlan) has to be driven home by the police. After having fun with Dougie’s son, Sonny Jim, Janey-E Jones (Naomi Watts) discovers her husband has been cheating on her. Janey-E then answers the phone call when the blackmailers demand more money.

While Janey-E meets with the blackmailers, Dougie/Dale heads back to work at the insurance firm. The firm’s boss discovers Dougie’s random drawings reveal a bigger truth. Janey-E pays off Dougie’s debt and manages to threaten the blackmailers at the same time. Elsewhere, the police find the license plate in the fiery wreckage of Dougie’s car.

Meanwhile, FBI agent Albert Rosenfeld (Miguel Ferrer) drives through a pounding rainstorm to his destination. After cursing out the rain, Albert walks inside to a packed bar. He then asks for Diane (Laura Dern), who doesn’t look too happy to see him.

At the Double R Diner, Shelly (Amick) gets a nice tip from her regular customer. That regular customer will be the witness of a horrible hit-and-run incident. She knows Richard Horne (Eamon Farren) was the driver who ran over the little boy.

Before, Richard Horne was at a drug deal with Red (Balthazar Getty). After showing off his coin trick, Red promises that if Red loses, he will kill him. Stone out of his mind, Richard ends up hitting a little boy with his truck. As Carl Rodd (Harry Dean Stanton) watches the fire burn out from the dead little boy, Richard tries to get rid of the evidence and washes off the blood from the hood.

Knowing the casino has lost its earnings because of Dougie, the owner sends out a file to Ike ‘The Spike’ Stadtler (Christophe Zajac-Denek). The Spike stabs the eyes of the photographs with his ice pick. The Spike goes off on his killing spree and somehow ends up bending the blade of his bloody ice pick.

In the bathroom, Deputy Chief Tommy ‘Hawk’ Hill (Michael Horse) suddenly drops his Indian coin and notices something wrong with the stall door. He then tears open the stall door and discovers yellow notes inside.

The officers watch as Sheriff Frank Truman (Robert Forster) deals with the rantings of his angry wife. Frank’s wife is still grieving from the loss of her son, who committed suicide.

The one-armed man warns Dale that he must wake up. At the bar, Sharon Van Etten performs “Tarifa” for the crowd.
