USA Network airs the Season 8 summer finale of the popular lawyer drama, Suits, starring Gabriel Macht and Katherine Heigl, with Episode 10: Managing Partner. Now that Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) has left the firm, is lawyer Harvey Specter (Macht) ready to get back and take on new court cases?
Robert Zane (Wendell Pierce) realizes Samantha and Alex need to battle in out in court. Whoever wins the case gets their name on the wall, but Harvey realizes they are back-stabbing each other instead. Their in-fight causes dirty secrets from Samantha’s past to be brought back up.
Elsewhere, Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) discovers that Sheila is up for a promotion. But can she handle the new position and a baby at the same time. They argue other or not they should have a baby, now that her professional life is moving forward.
Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) and Katrina Bennet (Amanda Schull) have a talk about their love lives and their professional lives. Is Robert willing to step down at his firm to take care of his child. That is something Sheila wants to hear now that she is actually pregnant.
In the flashbacks, we discover Samantha risked her professional career to help Robert. She risked everything because he had a family. Now she demands Robert to do something for her as payback.
Katrina reveals to Donna (Sarah Rafferty) that Louis asked her for a favor. This was Louis’ idea on how to save the firm from inner turmoil, but Donna actually has a better one. Though Alex won the case, Samantha refuses to back down.
Litt has a talk with Donna about how to save the firm. While Robert and Harvey are arguing, Louis announces he wants a vote to become Managing Partner. This was Donna’s plan to save the firm.
Robert tells Samantha that her name will not be part of the firm. They have been beaten and have to make peace. Alex and Samantha shake hands as she acknowledges defeat.
Harvey, Louis, and Donna share a moment together before having a few laughs. Louis realizes he is going to be Managing Partner and a father.
Suits returns in 2019.
