Back from break, USA Network continues Season 8 of the popular lawyer drama, Suits, starring Gabriel Macht and Katherine Heigl, with Episode 11: Rocky 8. Now that Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) has left the firm, is lawyer Harvey Specter (Macht) ready to get back and take on new court cases?
Since we last left them, Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) has taken over the reigns as Managing Partner. Robert Zane (Wendell Pierce) and Harvey have plans of their own; getting revenge for Jessica Pearson. Unfortunately, there is a severe lack of communications between them.
Elsewhere, Harvey and Robert’s revenge mission against Malik hits a wall, when an innocent man comes into question. Katrina (Amanda Schull) is already on thin ice with Samantha (Heigl). Alex (Duel Hill) unfortunately failed to keep Katrina’s identity.
With her back was against the wall, Katrina ends up asking advice from Donna. She doesn’t want to be a pushover. In the end, Katrina realizes what kind of lawyer she wants to be.
Meanwhile, Donna set out to find a new general counsel. He ended up meeting with firm’s client, Thomas Kessler (Sasha Roiz). She was able to successfully track down the perfect hire for Thomas.
During their time together, she also charmed Thomas in the process. Thinking they have actual chemistry, Thomas asked Donna to have dinner with him. Although she was clearly interested and flattered, she turned him down because has a client.
Before hanging up, Thomas promised to give her time before asking her out again, especially since he’s no longer going to be a client of hers. If she still feels the same way, Thomas will respect that decision and never ask again.
Donna really gets in Harvey’s face as she mocks his lack of leadership skills. Realizing he can’t step aside anymore, Louis gets himself involved in Harvey and Robert’s revenge mission. Their plan finally goes through and Malik ends up wanting revenge against the firm. Harvey mentions to Malik, “Jessica sends her regards.”
With Donna and the rest of the female cast have their drinks, Harvey and Robert end up watching the Rocky movies together.
Suits continues Wednesdays at 10pm on USA Network.
