DC Universe continues the critically acclaimed Titans with Season 2, Episode 8: Jericho, starring Brenton Thwaites and Teagan Croft. After the first season finale, Dick Grayson (Thawites) hopes to train Raven (Croft) and Beast Boy (Ryan Potter) as new members to the new superhero team he’s trying to rebuild.
Dick Grayson tells Jason Todd (Curran Walters) that he killed Deathstroke’s son. Back in 2014, Jericho (Chella Man) is invited by Dick to join the others at the beach. While playing football and drinking beer, Jericho finally opens up about his father.
After being experimented on, Slade Wilson (Esai Morales) manages to escape and shoot his way through a team of soldiers, while eating an apple. When he returns home, Slade tries to make peace with Jericho and offers his watch as consolation for missing his birthday.
While pretending to work as an insurance agent, a group of terrorists invade Slade’s home. All of sudden, Jericho’s throat is slit during the hostage situation. At that moment, Dove (Minka Kelly) isn’t too happy pretending to be friends with Jericho and getting information out of him.
Still reeling from Garth’s death, Donna (Connor Leslie) pays a visit to her Amazon handler, Jillian. From watching the footage of his murder, Garth stood in the way and took the bullet for Jillian; she was the real target. With Jericho hanging out with the Titans, Wintergreen reminds Deathstroke that he needs to finish the job.
At the record store, Grayson spots Jericho using his superpower. Through body-hopping, Jericho is able to move his consciousness to another person’s body and control their movements. Jericho shows the team how he can use his powers by making Hawk dance.
Grayson now wants Jericho to join the team. Dove insists they tell Jericho everything; all cards out. Jericho leaves his mother after discovering his father is a paid assassin. Jericho’s mother is forced to make contact with Slade, ordering him to bring back her son.
Through Wintergreen, Jericho discovers his father wants to meet with him. Jericho asks Grayson not to show up and let him talk to his father. Grayson promises not to intervene but Deathstroke has other plans.
Deathstroke kills Jillian and the rest of her Amazon bodyguards before setting up a trap for Wonder Girl. At the gallery, Wonder Girl uses her glowing lasso to defend herself against Deathstroke’s sword. Deathstroke uses his knife to repeatedly cut Wonder Girl open, warning her to stay away from his son.
The Titans finally arrive at the gallery and find Donna barely holding on. After seeing Donna on the floor, bleeding from her wounds, Robin hurries over to Jericho’s meeting spot. Deathstroke was already expecting him to show up at the church.
Robin uses every weapon and every trick against Deathstroke, but he still gets pulverized. Unable to stand up, Robin is lying on the floor bleeding. Just as he brings the sword down, Jericho gets in the way and is stabbed to death by his own father.
Jericho’s death causes the Titans to split.
