With 2 episodes to go, Showtime continues Twin Peaks: The Return with the latest nostalgic shocker, Episode 16: No Knock, No Doorbell. In the sixteenth episode, original stars, Kyle MacLachlan and Mädchen Amick, reunite along with new faces in the continuation of David Lynch’s mystery/crime drama.

After Dougie electrocuted himself, Dale (MacLachlan) is lying in a coma at the hospital. Evil Dale heads out to the coordinates with Richard Horne (Eamon Farren). Jerry Horne (David Patrick Kelly) arrives just in time to see Richards being struck by lightning. After watching Richard die, Evil Dale says goodbye to his own son.

Janey-E Jones (Naomi Watts) is taken by the surprise by the Mitchum brothers visit. Bradley (Jim Belushi) and Bobby Mitchum (Robert Knepper) promise to take care of their home. During their visit, they end up in the middle of a shootout with Gary ‘Hutch’ Hutchens (Tim Roth) and Chantal (Jennifer Jason Leigh).

After Chantal and Hutch are shot to death by an angry suburbanite, Dale finally wakes up from his coma. Dale speaks to the One-Armed Man, who has a message for him. Evil Dale has not returned to the Black Lodge.

Receiving a message from Evil Dale, Diane (Laura Dern) finally remembers what happened and makes a visit to Deputy Director Gordon Cole (Lynch). Diane reveals she was violated and put together by Evil Dale. FBI agents Albert Rosenfeld (Miguel Ferrer) and Tammy Preston (Chrysta Bell) are ready for Diane when she pulls out her gun.

During the shootout, Diane finds herself in the Black Lodge. She curses out the One-Armed Man. Meanwhile, Cooper is making arrangements for his family with the Mitchum brothers. Janey-E and Sonny Jim realize they are with a whole different person after seeing Cooper drive their car to the casino.

Dale has to make the difficult choice of leaving his family behind. Cooper loves Sonny Jim so much and wants to continue being his father. Janey-E kisses the stranger she has fallen in love with. He promises to return to them after the ordeal is over.

Bradley and Bobby agree to take Cooper to Twin Peaks. The Mitchums worry about facing problems with the FBI and the local police. Dale isn’t worried because the two have a heart of gold, which Candie agrees.

Audrey Horne (Sherilyn Fenn) finally arrives at the Roadhouse with her therapist.  After showing off her dance moves to a packed crowd, a fight suddenly ensues. Audrey screams as she wakes up from her coma and sees herself in the mirror.

Twin Peaks: The Return continues Sundays at 9pm on Showtime.
