For a limited time only, DC Universe presents the Doom Patrol pilot, the first episode starring Brendan Fraser and April Bowlby, FOR FREE. With the first season finale coming up, the exclusive original series from DC UNIVERSE will be available for anyone to view without a subscription.

Part support group, part Super Hero team, the Doom Patrol is a band of super-powered freaks, who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them. Picking up after the events of Titans, these reluctant heroes are in a place they never expected to be, called to action by none other than Cyborg, who comes to them with a mission hard to refuse, but with a warning that is hard to ignore. Their lives will never, ever be the same.

Here are 5 reasons you should see the first episode of Doom Patrol:

5) First Season Finale!

Watch the pilot for FREE here and discover why DC Universe subscribers are hyped to watch the first season finale on Friday, May 24th, 2019.

4) The Star-Studded Pilot!

I am huge fan of White Collar and the Mummy movies. The cast includes Matt Bomer as Larry Trainor/Negative Man, Brendan Fraser as Cliff Steele/Robotman, April Bowlby as Elasti-Woman, Diane Guerrero as Crazy Jane, and Timothy Dalton as Dr. Niles Caulder/The Chief.

3) Supernatural!

Best known for his work on the CW horror drama, Supernatural, Doom Patrol showrunner Jeremy Carver wrote the critically acclaimed first episode this adaptation. It’s a very different take from Geoff Johns’ backdoor pilot from Titans. I loved how Carver included weird elements  from Grant Morrison’s run and took certain looks from artist Nick Derington.

2) Mr. Nobody!

Alan Tudyk is simply amazing to watch as the antagonist known as Mr. Nobody. From his narration, Mr. Nobody’s sarcastic wit and cynicism takes a surprise twist, making him instantly terrifying. Just because you watch Arrow and The Flash, that doesn’t mean you know what a comic book TV show can really be.

1) It’s FREE!

Check out DOOM PATROL on DC’s YouTube Channel, IGN’s YouTube Channel, Rotten Tomatoes and WatchMojo.

The first episode of Doom Patrol can be seen for FREE until Thursday May 23rd, 2019.
