Warner Home Video brings the action-packed drama behind the superhero team-up in the DVD and Blu-Ray editions of Justice League, featuring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, and Gal Gadot. Viewers should get ready to enjoy the bonus special features after watching the popular DC Comics superheroes save the world.

As we previously mentioned, Justice League follows the recruitment of a reluctant team against a newly awakened enemy. The formation of an unprecedented league of heroes — Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg  (Ray Fisher) and the Flash (Ezra Miller) — is about to take place. But without the aid of Superman (Cavill), it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Here are 5 reasons why you should get Justice League on Blu-Ray:

5) Think Positive Beeps!

Justice League went through so many hurdles, such as Zack Snyder leaving the director’s chair, the hurried race to the release date, and squeezing the two-part script into one. There are noticeable flaws, such as unfinished special effects, but in the end, we have a Joss Whedon screenplay directed by Zack Snyder. Take it or leave it!!

4) Aquaman!

I am very excited for the solo Aquaman movie! Momoa has the charisma and brash cockiness that brings the underwater superhero to life. Amber Heard is a queen of her own as Mera. Justice League teases the water world and special effects that fans should expect in James Wan’s upcoming feature film.

3) The Death & Return of Superman!

If you look at Man of Steel, Batman vs. Superman, and Justice League, Zack Snyder started Superman’s arc from reluctant outsider to the full-fledged hero that readers know and love from the comics. Cavill has carried the role, giving each flick its own performance with gravitas.

2) The Whedonverse!

As a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly, there are laugh-out-loud moments from writer/co-director Joss Whedon. When the Flash quips Pet Semetary, or when Bruce Wayne (Affleck) mentions he bought the bank, Whedon nails the pop culture reference in the humorous narrative. I actually prefer the Superman/Flash race in the end credits than Snyder’s foreboding Deathstroke/Lex Luthor team-up.
