The epic crossover continues with so tension and action as Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #26 (BOOM! Studios) delivers an energetic boost of teen drama and superhero dynamics. The Power Rangers are caught unprepared after the loss of familiar friend.
The shocking events of “Shattered Grid” continue from the last issue. Lord Drakkon’s victory seems assured unless the Rangers can find a way to defeat them. The Rangers have to team-up with another team of Power Rangers they’ve never met before!

Drakkon makes an unexpected return with a major space battle against Time Force. The cracks in the grid lead to Tommy’s evil counterpart to cross over into another dimension. Just when Kimberly and Tommy were on their first date, Drakkon delivered a shocking fatal blow.
4) Teens With Attitude!
Writer Kyle Higgins focuses on the emotional loss of a teammate and friend. With the death of Tommy, the team has to mourn together at his funeral and rise above their grieving anger towards Zordon. As their leader, Jason realizes the ultimate truth; he cannot save anyone from death.
3) The Artwork
With ink assistance by Simona Di Gianfelice, artist Daniele Di Nicuolo captures the mourning period in a series of heart wrenching panels. Notice in the background, Bulk and Skull are grieving as well over Tommy’s death. Nicuolo depicts Kimberly’s need for vengeance in her closeups.
2) The Colors! The Colors!
Colorist Walter Baiamonte delivers a vivid palette when Drakkon attacks once more with his army. The panels turn to a heavenly white tone when the dragon cannon is fired. I really like how Baiamonte brightens the page when the Rangers teleport from the command center into the battlefield.
