For a limited time, DC UNIVERSE is offering viewers FREE access to watch SYFY’s Krypton Season 2, Episode 1, starring Cameron Cuffe and Emmett J. Scanlan. Check out how the history of Superman’s planet and heritage came about through his grandfather, Seg-El (Cameron Cuffe).

Krypton follows the legendary Man of Steel’s ancestor, whose family, the House of El, has been ostracized and shamed. Seg (Cuffe) fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos.

Here are 5 reasons why you should watch the premiere of Krypton Season 2 for FREE:

5) Cameron Cuffe!

Since the first season, Cameron Cuffe is undeniably engaging in Seg’s coming-of-age tale. With his family name stripped away, Seg has to build himself up from underdog to hero. In his portrayal of Seg, Cuffe has to embody the best aspects of Superman, even while his character is learning from his mistakes.

4) Colin Salmon!

Taking after Terence Stamp and Michael Shannon, Colin Salmon does wonders as he spins his own version of General Zod. Salmon dominates the screen as he becomes the fearsome and tyrannical Zod. More of a scheming manipulator, Zod (Salmon)is always trying to outwit his enemies and stay one step ahead.

3) Lobo!

Emmett J. Scanlan is utterly amazing in his scene-stealing introduction as Lobo. Scanlan has to exude a tough-guy persona, while maintaining a sarcastic sense of humor. I love the little details, like hearing the chains around his leathery outfit.

2) The First Season!

If you have never seen Krypton before and don’t want to start with the second season, DC Universe has you covered. All ll ten episodes of the first season of Krypton are currently available for members to view.

1) It’s FREE!

How many times do I have to repeat myself! It’s FREE! That’s right! You’ve heard me say it a bunch of times! FREE!

The premiere episode of Krypton Season 2 airs on DC UNIVERSE from now until Wednesday July 2.
