Shudder, Creepshow

Along with an additional story, Shudder has announced the new cast members joining the highly anticipated horror anthology series, Creepshow. Based on the iconic ‘80s, written by Stephen King and directed by George A. Romero, find out what who’s joining the cast and who’s playing which role in the upcoming horror series!

In “Gray Matter,” showrunner Greg Nicotero will be directing the installment, with Adrienne Barbeau, Giancarlo Esposito, and Tobin Bell in the segment. As we previously mentioned, David Arquette, Tobin Bell, Tricia Helfer and Dana Gould also joined the star-studded cast.

Here are 5 reasons we’re excited for Creepshow:

5) DJ Qualls!

Known for Hustle & Flow and Supernatural, DJ Qualls will take part in “The Finger.” This is the additional story added to the lineup. Written by David J. Schow (The Crow) and directed by showrunner Greg Nicotero, “The Finger” follows an unhappy man who brings home a severed, inhuman appendage from the street. The inhuman appendage starts to grow into a loyal companion with some deadly quirks.

4) Rap & Horror!

Kid Cudi, known for my favorite song, Pursuit of Happiness, joins Re-Animator’s Jeffrey Combs in “Bad Wolf Down.” Written and directed by Rob Schrab, “Bad Wolf Down” follows a group of American soldiers as they become trapped behind enemy lines during World War II.

3) Bruce Davison!

We loved Bruce Davison in Abnormal Attraction, so we can’t wait to see him in “Night of the Paw.” Written by John Esposito and directed by John Harrison, “Night of the Paw” follows a lonely mortician who suddenly finds company.

2) Big Boi!

Big Boi will also be featured in “The Man in the Suitcase.” Written by Christopher Buehlman and directed by Dave Bruckner, “The Man in the Suitcase” follows a college student who brings the wrong bag home from the airport and finds a pretzeled man trapped inside. The pretzeled man can turn his pain into gold.

1)I Can’t Wait!

Look at all these names! Look at them! How do you add to this from here!?!

Creepshow will premiere on Shudder later in 2019.
