It Chapter Two, Final Trailer

During San Diego Comic-Con 2019, Warner Bros. Pictures released the terrifying final trailer to It: Chapter Two, starring Jessica Chastain and James McAvoy. Based on the second half of Stephen King’s novel, director Andy Muschietti continues the highly anticipated rematch between the evil clown and the Losers Club.

Evil resurfaces as the Losers Club reunites—young and adult—to where it all began. Because every 27 years evil revisits the town of Derry, Maine, the Losers  have banded together to give the otherworldly Pennywise (Bill Skarsgard) another beatdown. Even Richie (Finn Wolfhard) and Beverly (Sophia Lillis) got some really good jabs at the scary clown, but can they do it all over again?

Check out our 5 reasons why we love the final trailer to It: Chapter 2:

5) They Don’t Remember!

The other Losers went their separate ways and forgot about the promise they made. Mike (Isaiah Mustafa) remembers what happened because he stayed in Derry, waiting for Pennywise’s inevitable return.

4) He’s Missed Them!

Bill Skarsgard does something interested and twisted as Pennywise’s voice. This is the highlight of the trailer for me. Skarsgard really lays out the creepy voice-work as he says, “For 27 years, I’ve dreamt of you. I’ve craved you. I’ve missed you!”

3) Barry!

As Richie becomes his adult counterpart, Finn Wolfhard grows up to be Bill Hader. After delivering incredible performances back to back on two seasons of Barry, I’m really interested in seeing what Hader does here. This is the first horror movie for the Saturday Night Live comedian.

2) Tim Curry!

After playing a tortured character with multiple personalities in Glass, James McAvoy  is now the grown-up version of Bill “Stuttering” “Denbrough. Sure to be the scariest scene in the movie, we see Bill (McAvoy) trying to find his way through a maze of mirrors. That’s Tim Cury’s laugh from the IT miniseries when Bill enters the maze!

1) Jessica Chastain!

As the adult Beverly (Jessica Chastain), who ended up drenched in blood, she warns the other others about her prophecy. They’re all going to die. Is this going to be different ending than the book?

It: Chapter 2 arrives in theaters September 6th, 2018.
