Widow's Point Teaser, Teaser

Kwakutl Films, LLC has released the terrifying Widow’s Point teaser, from their upcoming supernatural thriller starring Craig Sheffer. Find out what happens when a down-on-his-luck author, Thomas Livingston (Sheffer), becomes trapped inside a haunted lighthouse.

As a publicity stunt, Thomas Livingston (Sheffer) spends a weekend locked inside a haunted lighthouse. This is all for a book he is writing about. As he uncovers the lighthouse’s terrifying secrets, sinister forces drive him to the brink of madness and a confrontation with cosmic horror.

Here are 5 reasons we love the Widow’s Point teaser:

5) Nightbreed!

Are you a fan of Nightbreed!?! I loved Craig Sheffer’s performance in Nightbreed and of course, Some Kind of Wonderful! I can’t wait to see what Sheffer does in this movie!

4) A Tour De Force Performance!

We loved Johnny Gruesome, so we’re really excited when filmmaker Gregory Lamberson teases, “The focus is on Craig’s character, and we were lucky to get him as our lead because he delivered a real tour de force performance that people are going to remember.”

3) The Book!

Lamberson’s film is based on the critically acclaimed book by New York Times bestselling father and son authors Richard and Billy Chizmar. In a book within a book, Livingston (Sheffer) is writing about the murders, suicides, and disappearances that have occurred at the mysterious lighthouse over the course of a century.

2) The Cast!

Willow Xylia Anwar, John Renna, Richard Satterwhite, Amy Hoffman, and Michael Thurber are also in the supporting cast. Katelynn E. Newberry and Dominic Luongo co-star as Livingston’s associates. Kaelin Lamberson portrays Delaney Collins, the daughter of the lighthouse keeper in 1933.

1) The Crew!

With Tamar Lamberson onboard as producer, Erin Elizabeth Heald will also serve as executive producers. Associate producers include Armand John Petri, Kim Piazza, Bruce and Vicki Liebowitz. They filmed at various locations in Western New York last August, including the Dunkirk Historical Lighthouse and Veterans Museum Park. Petri also co-composed the score with Joe Rozler.

Widow’s Point will screen at select film festivals.
