In the conclusion of its two-part mystery, ABC brings audiences to their world of magic in the crime drama, Deception, starring Jack Cutmore-Scott and Ilfenesh Hadera, with Episode 8: Multiple Outs. Get ready to fight crime and learn a few magic tricks alongside magician Cameron Black (Scott) and FBI agent Kay Daniels (Hadera).

After being kidnapped by The Femme Fatale (Stephanie Corneliussen), Cameron wakes up handcuffed to a bed. Realizing he is her prisoner, Cameron makes an attempt to escape. He quickly discovers this is another devious setup played by the Femme Fatale.

Cameron realizes Bishop (Billy Zane) has also been playing him. The Femme Fatale wants Cameron to help her pull off her upcoming heist. If he helps her, she will then hand over the evidence that proves his brother’s innocence.

With Bishop knocked out, Cameron makes a grab for his cell. Elsewhere, Jordan (Justin Chon) is having a conversation with Gunter (Vinnie Jones), and Dina (Lenora Crichlow) when he receives Cameron’s call. Justin reminds Cameron that the longer he helps the Femme fatale, the more trouble Kay is in.

While the Femme Fatale is gone, Cameron discovers from Jordan that this heist is part of a bigger scheme, that goes back to his family lineage. Unfortunately, their call is cut short when Bishop interrupts.

When the Femme Fatale arrives, Bishop is already accusing Cameron of betrayal. As the two arrive, the Femme Fatale is getting tired of their bickering. She takes out her gun and takes a shot at Bishop.

With Bishop gone, the Mystery Woman now orders Cameron to take his place. To frame an already guilty man, Cameron has to take a mask of his face. Cameron stops the Femme Fatale from killing the guilty man before the job is job.

During the heist, Jonathan and Cameron end up getting into a scuffle. With the lights turned off, Jonathan ends up crossing paths with Jordan. In order to keep the charade going, Cameron has to hit Jordan.

Cameron didn’t expect to be run into Jonathan again and loses the fight. With the alarms triggered, all the air is being sucked out of the room. Jonathan and the others realize it was Cameron all along disguised as the diamond thief.

Ever since they were children, Jonathan and Cameron have been there for each other. It’s their brotherly love that forces Cameron to open the vault from the inside. With the vault open, Jonathan holds his brother, alive and breathing, in his arms.

While Kay brings Jonathan back to prison, Cameron gets a yelling from Deakins (Laila Robins). Cameron may be helped her with the heist, but he made sure she didn’t get away with the diamond.
