A missing child needs rescuing as NBC continues the action-packed Season 4 drama of Blindspot with Episode 19: Everybody Hates Kathy, starring Jaimie Alexander and Sullivan Stapleton. After the shocking events of Season 3, will Kurt Weller (Stapleton) solve the mystery tattoos before its too late for Jane Doe (Alexander)?
When we last left them off, Zapata (Audrey Esparza) and Reade (Rob Brown) worked out their differences to bring down Madeline Burke (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio). But as soon as Madeline was placed under arrest, Helios has a new leader in charge. Kurt realizes his mother, Jessica, may have been working for Shepard.
During EVC’s elegant company party, a group of gunmen storm into the room. They demand the guests at the party unlock their devices and hand them over. Patterson (Ashley Johnson) and Rich Dotcom (Ennis Esmer) discover that they tattoo case leads to some stolen files. While team carries on their investigation, Weller and Jane are in Philadelphia to see his long-lost mother.
Patterson and Rich realize what was in those files, the launch codes to the satellite armed with missiles. Linda, Kurt’s mother, was an addict who made a lot of bad choices and abandoned her kids. She left Kurt with a monster of a father. Kurt is still angry at his mother and eventually interrogates her like a criminal.
Elsewhere, Kathy has been released from prison on good behavior. Reade, Rich, and Patterson are worried about what Kathy will snitch about Three Blind Mice. Rich and Patterson follow the clues to Kathy, who is working on a pink themed bridal party fitting for her wedding.
While Jane consoles Linda, the search for a missing boy continues. Evan and his son, Thomas, are on the run. Evan’s wife, Scarlett, wants her son back. After Evan gets shot at a gas station, Thomas is on his own. Weller realizes Scarlett wants her son returned safe and sound because he has the launch codes.
After Tasha and Weller take down her henchmen, Scarlett holds her son hostage. Kurt promises to ruin his son’s image of her by telling him the truth. To protect he son, Scarlett gives up and hands the gun over to Zapata.
After realizing what he went through, Weller forgives his mother and offers to send her to rehab. Reade and Zapata even flirting during the night, sharing their takeout food.Rich and Patterson don’t realize they are still in danger from Kathy.
Wanting revenge, Kathy is actually getting married to Dominic to complete Madeline’s terrorist attack.
Blindspot continues on NBC Fridays at 8pm in May.
