Harley Quinn, DC Universe

DC Universe continues the hilarious animated comedy, Harley Quinn, with Episode 2: A High Bar, starring Kaley Cuoco and Lake Bell. Dr. Harleen Quinzel, aka Harley Quinn, wants to known more in the criminal underworld than as The Joker’s girlfriend.

Even though Harley Quinn has moved on, The Joker (Alan Tudyk) doesn’t want the Legion of Doom to think she broke up with him. The Joker plants a bomb on Howie Mandel to tell everyone on live TV that the clown prince of crime broke up with her.

Living together, Harley and Poison Ivy (Lake Bell) think they should crash Joker’s next meeting with the Legion of Doom. She wants to prove that she is better off without him. Unfortunately, the meeting spot is actually a Bar Mitzvah hosted by The Penguin (Wayne Knight).

While Harley tries to make friends with Bane, Two-Face, and Scarecrow, Kite Man (Matt Oberg) has his eye on Poison Ivy. Kite Man is really bad at flirting with Poison Ivy. He ends up dousing the teen boys with Ivy’s pheromones, accidentally poisoning them.

Harley plans on stealing from the Penguin. What she doesn’t realize is that the money is fake and guards are all performers hired for the show. Poison Ivy’s gets worse as he tried to get the antidote for the horny teen boys. Kite Man strips himself naked and lies on Ivy’s bed, thinking they’re going to have sex.

The Penguin is furious with Harley for ruining the Bar Mitzvah. The Joker is having fun watching Harley squirm. Harley warns Bane, Two-Face, and Scarecrow that Joker is a bully. The only way for Joker to get his power is by hurting everyone else around him.

Poison Ivy manages to save Harley in the nick of time, while Kite Man takes a beating from Bane. Harley and Poison Ivy leave the standoff after the Joker makes an abrupt escape. Ivy though has to kiss the teen boys in order to save their lives.

Harley Quinn now wants to join the Legion of Doom in order for everyone else to take her seriously and not seen as Joker’s sidekick.
