Phoenix Dreams Publishing is putting together an epic Universe Omnibus Collection for Meatspace, which contains Volume 2 and its sci-fi prequel, Gamespace. As part of its reward packages on Kickstarter, the Omnibus Collection gathers all must-have 12 issues of both comic series.

In Volume 1 of Meatspace, Lance Brighton has sustained enough deadly injuries that he cannot survive without being placed into a cyborg body. In Dungeon World, Lance discovers his son is one of the top players in the world. Lance, his son and the rest of the Dungeon World players are about to learn no one lasts in the game forever. Andrew Maclean, of Headlopper fame, designed the main character and most of the world way back in the first installment.

Here are 5 reasons why we’re excited for the Meatspace Universe Omnibus Collection on Kickstarter:

5) Part 2 Is Always Bigger & Better!

In Volume 2,  life has started to become normal for Lance. After being asked to a High School Reunion, Lance discovers there is a new expansion being released too. He soon starts to learn that playing a game is starting to feel more like a job. GameSpace is a five-issue series set before the events of Meatspace Volume One.

4) The Creative Team!

After writing the original story, Josh Gorfain still has tons of ideas cooking in his mind. Artist Yuki Saeki just finished working for Top Cow and their Kickstarter project, Golgotha. Known for Toe Tag Riot (Black Mask Studios) and Pawn Shop (Z2 Comics), Sean Von Gorman will continue the story of Lance and Rebecca, which started in Vol.1.

3) The Rewards!

Once funded, Phoenix Dreams Publishing plans on releasing the 288 page collection in both soft and hardbound in May 2017. Rewards include digital and physical copies of the collection, exclusive behind-the-scenes content, original artwork, and character designs for 10 lucky fans.

2) Ever Wanted To Be Comic Book Character?

How would you like to be to added to the story as a minor character? The best Kickstarter reward is actually seeing yourself in Volume 2, which comes out in May 2018. You definitely want to show this one off to your friends!
