Dark Matter, Season 4

After building a passionate fanbase with their  action and sci-fi adventures on SYFY, Season 3 of Dark Matter is now available to binge-watch and chill on Netflix. From creators Joseph Mallozzi and Paul Mullie, check out this intergalactic misfit crew take on odd jobs, aerial fights, and aliens in the near future.

As we previously mentioned, Dark Matter follows an intergalactic misfit crew after they suddenly awaken on a derelict spaceship. None of the crew members have any memories of who they are or how they got there. All they know is that they have to work together or they will end up dead.

SPOILERS AHEAD: Here are 5 reasons why you need Dark Matter Season 3:

5) Best Fight Scene Ever!

2 (Melissa O’Neil) is such a badass! I loved her fight scene with 4 (Alex Mallari Jr.) in Hot Chocolate! I loved the choreography of the punches and kicks, and how the camera follows the action in one unedited take.

4) 6 Missing 5

I have been a huge fan of Roger Cross since 24. He captures the emotional heart of the series, especially when he gives these heartfelt goodbyes. Jodelle Ferland is just as wonderful as 5. I’m not crying, you’re crying!

3) All the Time in the World

Dark Matter has done a fantastic job deconstructing the tough guy of the Raza, 3 (played by Anthony Lemke). Lemke shows off his comedic talents in my favorite episode of this third season, All the Time in the World. The episode also shows off Zoie Palmer’s comedic skills as The Android.

2) That Ending!

Nowhere to Go hinted at the show’s true potential as the past seasons led to an epic alien invasion. Unfortunately, what was originally meant to be a teasing cliffhanger is now a series finale. I love shows that have an endgame planned out, and you can tell the showrunners had something epic in mind.

1) Entertainment At Its Best

Co-showrunner Joseph Mallozzi sadly announced to Dark Matter fans that they would not be getting a Season 4.  I would love to see Dark Matter’s arc finished as a comic book series. I would even love even more hearing about Mallozzi and Mullie’s next project. They discovered Aquaman, Jason Momoa, before anyone else! The cast and crew are so talented together, they gave audiences three seasons of great escapism and fun entertainment.

Season 3 of Dark Matter  is now available to binge-watch on Netflix.
