USA Network continues Season 8 of the popular lawyer drama, Suits, starring Gabriel Macht and Katherine Heigl, with Episode 6: Cats, Ballet, Harvey Specter. Now that Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) has left the firm, is lawyer Harvey Specter (Macht) ready to get back and take on new court cases?
Harvey is actually having a bad day; his sister-in-law has decided to go through with the divorce. While Harvey’s family is being torn apart, Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman), is actually enjoying the baby news. Louis cannot stop talking about his new family life with Sheila, which is why Harvey has to betray his trust.
Meanwhile, Louis tells Katrina Bennet (Amanda Schull) that she has a chance to be Senior Partner. All she has to do is win this important case for him. When she realizes Louis means what he says, the stakes are higher for her.
Donna (Sarah Rafferty) discovers that her friend, Peggy, has been fired from her job. She had been working for a snake at her charity. Donna finds out from Alex (Dule Hill) and Samantha (Heigl) that the charity has been stealing funds that was meant to go to poor children.
Katrina has been acting really flirtatious with Brian (Jake Epstein) in and outside of work. Donna is kind of worried with Katrina that she’s starting an affair with a married man, who also has a kid. Katrina assures Donna that they are just friends.
Realizing Brian is going to stay in after work, Katrina tells him right away to go home. They are supposed to be friends. Are they more though?
Donna discovers something valuable about Samantha; she doesn’t trust people in general. But Samantha is willing to fight for the kids. Donna and Samantha finally team-up to take down the sleazy boss of the charity.
Harvey and Louis have couples therapy with Dr. Lipschitz (Ray Proscia). Harvey ends up lashing out, which forces Louis to leave the room. Dr. Lipschitz though recognizes Harvey is in a great deal of pain and asks permission from Louis to treat him.
During their therapy session, Harvey tells Dr. Lipschitz that people leave. Mike, Rachel, and his sister-in-law are leaving; so he expects to Harvey to leave too. Dr. Lipschitz warns Harvey that Louis will leave too if he pushes his friend away.
During the night, Harvey tells Louis that he’s sorry. Reluctantly admitting, Harvey tells Louis that they are brothers from another mother. The two go out for drinks after finishing up work.
Samantha wants to tell Donna why she doesn’t have a lot of trust in people. Donna wants to hear all about it over drinks. A new friendship is just beginning…
Suits continues Wednesdays at 9pm on USA Network.
