USA Network continues Season 8 of the popular lawyer drama, Suits, starring Gabriel Macht and Katherine Heigl, with Episode 7: Sour Grapes. Now that Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) has left the firm, is lawyer Harvey Specter (Macht) ready to get back and take on new court cases?
Gretchen (Aloma Wright) is the only one who sees Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) dancing in his office. Louis is enjoying the latest baby news; Sheila is pregnant.They promise to have dinner together after work to celebrate.
Robert Zane (Wendell Pierce) asks Alex (Dule Hill) for his legal advice on his latest case. Robert thinks this is an actual case of racism. Alex starts to bond with Robert and learns his sister, who passed away.
David Fox has comes in to collect his favor from Donna (Sarah Rafferty). in his reluctance, Harvey has to help David buy another building, but the owner refuses to sell. The building’s owner knows it’s David and doesn’t want his dirty money.
Because Harvey is having a hard time, Donna asks for Samantha’s help. Samantha has an idea to win the case, but it all blows up in her face at court. The owner knew David Fox has been laundering money, which really upsets Harvey.
Though Sheila and Louis are happy with the news, they argue over which religion is right for their child. Sheila is Christian and Louis is Jewish. Sheila doesn’t want religion to be part of the baby’s life, which upsets Louis and his sister (Amy Acker).
Louis turns to Dr. Lipschitz (Ray Proscia) for advice and gets a congratulatory hug. Harvey realizes it’s important for Sheila to feel like she’s part of the family. Sheila sits down on one knee and asks Louis to marry her.
Though Robert is right about the racism, he still needs to build a community. Alex and Robert end up working together on putting together on a welcoming party for his neighbors. It’s what Robert’s sister would have wanted.
With Donna’s promise at stake, Harvey learns David Fox was funneling money because he wants to appear ruthless. It appears Donna and Samantha were right all along about David. Harvey just has a hard time saying he’s sorry.
During the night, Louis tells Gretchen the bad news. Sheila isn’t pregnant at all; it was mix-up. He really wants to be a father…
