Aaron Gillespie and Michael Mulipola focus on Steve Austin in “Funeral for a Rattlesnake!” Kevin Panetta and Dominike Stanton present the many personalities of Mick Foley in “3 Faces of Foley.” Julian May and Hyeonjin Kim are all about the action in “Trish Vs. Lita.” Ryan Ferrier and Kenall Goode love the outrageousness of D-Generation X in “Behind Enemy Lines.” Taking over for all four stories, Letterer Jim Campbell loves heightening the action inside the ring!
4) My Favorite!
My favorite in the collection is writer Kevin Panetta and artist Dominike Stanton’s “3 Faces of Foley.” Like a one-man show, Mick Foley recounts the biggest events in his wrestling career. As if he has multiple personalities, Dude Love talks to himself, Mankind, and Cactus Jack.
3) The Action!
If wrestling is what you crave, then you’re going to love writer Julian May and artist Hyeonjin Kim’s action-packed, “Trish Vs. Lita.” Lita wants revenge for what Lita did to her nose. Readers are going to enjoy revisiting the greatest match between two icons!
2) The Colors!
Colorist Matias Laborde keeps Stone Cold in blue shades in “Funeral for a Rattlesnake.” Jeremy Lawson’s colors for Mankind stand out with their brown hues in “3 Faces of Foley.” Dude Love is just a rainbow of primary colors.
