Forager joins Halo on her first day at high school. Forager is now using a mystical gem to give him a human appearance. With his new name as Fed Bugg, with two gs, Forager is excited to go to school.

At the high school, The two end up bonding with Harper Row. After starting a weird friendship, Row tells them to accept their outsider status and enjoy being freaks. Halo starts to feel sick, senses Victor’s pain, and teleports herself to his destination.

Elsewhere, Victor’s father uses the Father Box to save his son. The Father Box heals half of Victor’s burnt body and transforms him into Cyborg. Enraged, Victor blames his father for ruining his life.

All of sudden, Halo arrives and stops Victor from killing his father. Victor cannot be with his father because he still blames him. Victor leaves with Halo and teleports back to the high school grounds.

While Halo and Artemis meet with Victor, Brion continues to keep tabs on Gregor and Markovia. Brian tries to hack into the Justice League s computer to find info on his sister. He is then caught by Nightwing.

Brion takes his anger out on Nighwting, who knows better. Nightwing reminds Brion that he’s really mad at everything he’s lost. Brion takes Nightwing’s advice to heart and later reconciles with him at sunset.
