West Texas preacher Jesse Custer (Cooper) is back with his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip (Negga) and an Irish vampire named Cassidy (Gilgun). Together they embark on a road trip to find God. They are thrust into a twisted battle spanning Heaven, Hell and everywhere in between.

5) First Look!
Jesse Custer’s quest for God takes him back to the place he’s been avoiding his whole life: home. Jesse, Tulip, and Cassidy return to Angelville, the Louisiana Plantation where Jesse was raised, and finds old grudges and deadly obligations await them. With the help of his friends — and a few enemies — Jesse will need to escape his past… because the future of the world depends on it.

According to Bloody-Disgusting, Jonny Coyne is Allfather D’Aronique, a cluelessly malevolent and overweight character, who may be potentially the most powerful man in the world. Betty Buckley joins Gran’ma, Jesse’s only living family who brings back the dead for a price.Colin Cunningham is TC–a man born of the bayou and the loyal caretaker and soldier for Gran’ma. Jeremy Childs joins as Jody, an enforcer for Gran’ma and the only man Jesse’s never beaten in a fight. Liz McGeever plays Christina, who suffers to protect her child.

This adaptation is based on the Vertigo comic book, Preacher, created by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon. Just like The Walking Dead on AMC, the show remains faithful to the tone and expands on its books’ themes.
Season 3 of Preacher premieres on AMC on June 24th, 2018.
