5 Reasons To Get ‘Psi-Lords’ #2 (Valiant Entertainment)!

Psi Lords #2, Valiant

A fast-paced space adventure, Psi-Lords #2 (Valiant Entertainment) delivers interesting characters with believable camaraderie. The second installment keeps the the banter flowing between the super-powered protagonists as the pulse-pounding chase continues.

After an explosive escape from a cosmic prison, the team of amnesiac astronauts needs to find a way home! But where is the ship that brought them here in the first place? And just who are these Psi-Lords they keep hearing about?

Here are 5 reasons why you should get Psi-Lords #2:

5) What Happened Before!

The first issue introduced readers to Artisan, Beacon, Hazard, and Tank. They were a group of amnesiacs locked up in an otherworldly prison. Just as they were able to make their escape from the prison, the group suddenly discovers they are nowhere near Earth.

4) The Writing!

Writer Fred Van Lente does a great job giving the characters an individual spotlight. Each character gets a chance to define their own personality. The lettering by Dave Sharpe bolds the names of the character in the dialogue balloons. This makes it easier for readers to understand who’s talking in the wide shots.

3) The Artwork!

Artist Renato Guedes does a great job illustrating the alien species in the issue. The designs of the extraterrestrials look familiar, yet odd at the same time. The faces of the aliens resemble something recognizable of a cat or an octopus.

2) The Colors!

Artisan, Beacon, Hazard, and Tank have their own specific color tied to their suit and superpower. When Hazard strikes out in action, her entire body is outlined by a red shade. Notice how the red tones pop out in the design of her costume.

1) A Fun Read!

Sci-fi fans are going to really get a kick out of Psi-Lords #2! The Psi-Lords series manages to combine space opera, prison break, and action in genuinely clever ways.

Psi-Lords #2 arrives in stores on July 24th, 2019.
