This a great first issue for newcomers to jump in on. This is a fun interpretation of the skilled archer within a modern setting.
4) The Writing!
From a story by Dave Franchini, writer Ben Meares slides in a clever twist in the crime-driven tale. With the evidence pointed against her, Robyn has been framed for a crime she didn’t commit. Robyn is in a race against time to clear her name. Letterer Taylor Esposito does a great job sparkling the witty humor during the fast-paced action sequences.
3) The Artwork!
Readers will be enamored by artist Babisu Kourtis’ character design of Robyn Hood. A showoff when aiming her arrows, Robyn fights like a brawler during her hand-to-hand combat. During the second act, Kourtis tightly choreographs the action as Robyn finds herself trapped in a chokehold, while struggling to grab her knife.
2) The Colors!
The colors by Juan Manuel Rodriguez spotlight Robyn’s glowing eye in every page. Military inspired, the green hues in Robyn’s outfit resemble an army jacket, as if her costume is supposed to be tactical.

With stunning visuals and top-notch action, Robyn Hood: Vigilante #1 will definitely keep readers entertained. Looking forward to the next issue!
