Tom Sizemore, The Pining,

Uncia films presents the brooding and unnervingly creepy supernatural thriller, The Pining, starring Tom Sizemore and Jackie Dallas. Director Eduardo Castrillo keeps the plot steadily moving as a detective, priest and photographer find themselves on a collision course.

When members of a therapy group start dying under mysterious circumstances, A hardboiled detective is forced to reopen a cold case. Her only leads are a burnt-out priest and a handicapped photographer, who seem to know more than what is in their police statements.

Here are 5 reasons why you should see The Pining:

5) Tom Sizemore!

The Pining

As a huge fan of Heat, I couldn’t wait to see Tom Sizemore pop up in the movie. Interestingly, Father William (Sizemore) is calm and caring as he consults with others as a group therapy leader. But there’s a level of mystery hinted about Father William when he’s questioned about the murders. Sizemore is great at portraying those two aspects, making audiences wonder if he’s a red herring or not.

4) Jackie Dallas!

Jackie Dallas really dives herself into the tough and no-nonsense role of Detective Harris. Harris  (Dallas) is determined to solve the cold case, but there are other forces trying to stop her. Even with her determination and strength, Harris starts to become obsessed with her potential suspects.

3) Natalie Gibson!

Definitely one to watch, Natalie Gibson has the best scare scene as Grace. Gibson has such a dynamic personality and an appealing charm as Grace. Right from the start, Gibson radiates such chemistry with Diogo Hausen, who plays Joe.

2) The Direction!

As we previously mentioned, director Eduardo Castrillo delivered a personal and uplifting kickboxing flick, Worth. In the opening minutes, Castrillo demonstrates he has an eye for horror with the first kill scene. Castrillo also has a romantic eye, capturing the chemistry between Gibson and Hausen.

1) Supernatural Horror!

The Pining
