Following up with the success of Titans, DC Universe premieres the highly anticipated pilot of Doom Patrol, with Episode 1, starring Matt Bomer and Brendan Fraser. Find out how this band of superhero weirdos teamed-up against the super villain known as Mr. Nobody (Alan Tudyk).

In Portugal, Eric Morden (Tudyk) sold his soul for a chance to have superpowers. He learned that the mind is the only limit. Elsewhere, The Chief (Timothy Dolton) has been gathering metahumans and treating them at his wealthy estate, Doom Manor.

Robotman was once a race car driver, Cliff Steele (Fraser), who cheated on his wife and was an absentee father. The Chief was only able to save Cliff’s brain from the wrekage. While learning how to walk again as Robotman, Cliff discovers his wife and daughter died in a car crash.

Elasti-Girl (April Bowlby) was once ‘50s actress Rita Farr. Rita was embarrassed to look a one-armed crew member on the film star. After a mishap on set, Rita sunk into the waters and swallowed up a mystical spirit. Rita had to run and hide after her face melted and her body sagged.

Negative Man was once Larry Trainor (Bomer), an ace pilot who cheated on his wife and kids. While flying off into space, Larry’s ship was attacked by an extraterrestrial light show. His ship crashed and burned his body, leaving a radioactive spirit behind.

After a disastrous encounter with Hammer-Head, Robotman jokes around with Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero) as she paintsin the rain. Robotman reveals his daughter’s birthday is coming up. Later on, the team is alone as The Chief heads on out and leaves town with the team unsupervised.

Out in the town, Elasti-Girl meets with a huge fan but cannot control her disfigurement. After drinking beer, Negative Man starts to feel his radioactive powers coming out of his chest. Crazy Jane takes Robotman to a toy store to buy a gift, a stuffed giraffe, for his daughter’s birthday.

Just when Robotman discovers his daughter is still alive, Elasti-Girl turns herself into a giant blob. Negative Man starts causing explosions after his radioactive spirit leaves his body.  Robotman rips the pavement out of the ground and forms a barricade, stopping Elasti-Girl from hurting the frightened citizens.

The Chief arrives back into town, annoyed and scared at the same time. After the chief starts telling, Robotman argues with him; his daughter is still alive. Robotman wants to stay in town and find his long-lost daughter, but the others refuse to side with him.

Crazy Jane doesn’t want to leave the Cliff alone. After voting together as a team, Jane turns the school bus around and they all leave together to find Robotman. They never realized Mr. Nobody was hiding in the backseat of the bus, waiting to strike at The Chief.

At the end of the street, the goat farts a message, “The mind is the limit,” for the gang to see. Just then, Mr. Nobody slaps his hands together, causing a black hole to swallow up the town of Cloverton.
