After announcing the pilot order, The CW Network is adding names to the cast for Batwoman starring Ruby Rose. Check out what’s next for the DC Comics heroine after the crossover event with The Flash, Supergirl, and Arrow

When Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) wake up, the duo realize they have swapped bodies with each other. The two set off to find out what disturbed the timeline to cause such a shift. After Barry and Oliver realize they need Supergirl (Melissa Benoist)’s help, their mission sends them towards Gotham City.

SPOILERS AHEAD! Here are 5 reasons why we love the Batwoman cast:

5) Meagan Tandy!

Gratitude on Gratitude.

According to TV Line, actress Meagan Tandy will play Sophie Moore on the CW drama. Sophia (Tandy) is a military academy graduate, who also works in Gotham. Will Batwoman cross paths with this high-level private security agent?

4) Flamebird!

Actress Nicole Kang (YOU) also joins as Kate Kane’s excitable step-sister, Mary Hamilton. There is also some speculation that Mary (Kang) will eventually turn out to Flamebird. Will Batwoman have herself a sidekick, her own Robin in the series?

3) Batwing!

Actor Camrus Johnson (Luke Cage) plays Lucius Fox’s son, Luke. Luke (Johnson) will be guarding Bruce Wayne’s estate while he’s away. Will Luke suit up as Batwing?

2) The Pilot Order!

As we previously mentioned, The CW is definitely moving forward with a Batwoman series. The CW drama comes from showrunner/writer Caroline Dries (The Vampire Diaries) and executive producer Greg Berlanti (Titans). Dries will executive produce alongside Berlanti and his Warner Bros. TV-based Berlanti Productions heads, Sarah Schechter and Geoff Johns.

1) David Nutter Is Directing!

David Nutter is a really big deal in the television industry because the Emmy-winning Game of Thrones director helmed pilots for The Flash, Arrow, Supernatural, The X-Files, and Deception.  Notice how all all of these pilots have gone to series. Plus, you had me at X-Files!

Elseworlds can be seen on the CW app or On Demand.
