The World According to Jeff Goldblum, Disney +

Disney + presents the premiere of their documentary series, The World According to Jeff Goldblum, with Episode 1: Sneakers. Take in all the information and experience of sneaker culture with the versatile actor from The Lost World: Jurassic Park. 

At Sneaker Con, The World According to Jeff Goldblum host is immersed with a crowd wanting to buy the latest sneaker trend. The attendees either want to try out every sneaker there or they’re walking around buying the latest footwear. If you notice, everyone at Sneaker Con brings in wads of cash and doesn’t use their credit card.

Watching from the side, Goldblum witness a vendor trying to make a sale. At the convention, a buyer wants an entire wall of sneakers from the vendor’s booth. The vendor and the buyer have to make a transaction in cash, without credit being involved.  

Then at Adidas HQ, the Independence Day actor learns about the scientific research that goes into making a sneaker. The Adidas team have to analyze the data from an avid runner on the treadmill. From the data, the team can figure out the pressure and how to make the sneaker more comfortable. 

The Adidas team then have Goldblum do some tests for them. To study facial expressions, the team has to analyze how would he react if he saw his new sneakers? Goldblum also presses his foot down differently because he bops, instead of runs.

Goldblum starts playing street game with a group of basketball players. Asked what his nickname should be, if he was in his prime, he would have been called “The Fly.” The sneakers reveal how confident the player feels before entering the game. 

After learning how video creators make their unboxing content on YouTube, Jeff plays a visit to his own shoe-maker and asks for a custom one-of-a-kind sneaker. With picking out a leopard print and a black color, Jeff then shows a personal picture of his relative that means a lot to him.

Showing off his video skills, Goldblum unboxes the case and presents his custom-made sneakers.
